How Wholesale VoIP Pricing Works: Rate Sheets, Increments and Tiers

A wholesale rate sheet looks simple — prefix, rate, effective date — but billing increments, quality tiers and rate-change notice periods change what you actually pay.

Billing increments

1/1 bills per second; 60/60 bills the first minute in full. On short-duration CC traffic the difference can be 20–40% of your bill.

Premium vs standard tiers

Premium uses direct or Tier-1 paths and CLI; standard trades some quality for cost. Price each destination independently.

Rate change notice

Insist on written notice for increases; we give seven days.
